Welcome to the ID Netrom website, this time I will share a Custom ROM for Xioami Redmi Note 5 or with a code name (Whyred). Custom ROM this time is Komodo OS again with the newest version for whyred devices.
Specification Whyred
Before going to the download link, let's look at the specifications of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 (whyred), equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 636.The chipset is equipped with an octa-core 1.8 GHz Kryo 260 CPU and Adreno 509 GPU. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 itself is the first smartphone in Indonesia is equipped with this chipset.There are two variants of RAM and storage media capacity, namely 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage media and 4 GB RAM with 64 GB storage media.
In terms of battery, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is equipped with a 4,000 mAh battery. On paper, the battery should be able to last the device for more than 10 hours on a full charge.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 uses a screen with a contemporary design, which is a thin frame. The screen size itself is 5.99 inches with support for FullHD + resolution of 1,080 x 2,160 pixels. The aspect ratio that is supported is also contemporary, namely 18: 9.
The type of screen used is IPS LCD. Supposedly, the screen of this device is capable of displaying images clearly.

How to Install ROM ?
- First you download all the files above.
- Then Reboot Your Phone into Recovery (TWRP).
- After Entering Recovery, Full Wipe Your Phone (System, Data, Cache, Dalvik).
- After Wipe, Install Zip ROM first and then Gapps.
- When the installation process is complete, reboot your mobile system.
- First Boot usually takes 10-20 minutes.
